This review should have been posted a few weeks ago but my schedule didnโt allow me to actually sit still to do so โฆI wanted to ensure I had the time to truly explain how amazing my experience has been with this Company. To start, I live in Philly & my daughter was Penn State Altoona at the time & on 4/26/26 she turned 20yrs old and this was the first time I wasnโt going to celebrating with her and being hands on with all the plans. But with the secret help of her College Friends I was able to plan an amazing Birthday weekend in state college for all of them to enjoy but the most stressful thing was find her the perfect Cake!! Her friends wanted to go to pick one up from a Supermarket but because I wasnโt going to be there I wanted to make everything about her Bday super special and a market cake wasnโt going to work unfortunately in addition they were college kids with no vehicles I didnโt want to put that taste on them and it may or many not get done. I was now less then 2wks from her Bday weekend and just now starting the search for the perfect โIโm sorry Mommy couldnโt be there but hopefully this amazingly crafted artwork now called your Bday Cake makes up for itโ type of Cake

I ordered a cake here for my boyfriendโs graduation from Penn State and it was amazing! I had ordered it last minute and they made sure it would be ready in time with my custom message. I chose the 1 tier vintage style grad cake design. The detail and piping looked just like the photos and the message turned out beautiful. My boyfriend and his family loved it. It tasted just as good as it looked!

I have loved Dolce Vita desserts for almost 10 years. When it was time for my wedding cake, I knew I wanted Dolce Vita, even though I now live 2+ hours away. Mary and the team were very communicative regarding traveling with my cake and made the process seamless. The cake was everything I hoped for! It was beautiful and delicious. We had some gluten free guests who we got cupcakes for and they said it was the best gluten free cupcakes they have ever had !

Dolce Vita Desserts was a sweet highlight on our last day moving our son out after his Penn State graduation! I grabbed their Penn State paw cookies for his party and they were an absolute hit. I was so relieved to find them, especially since no other local bakeries offered anything similar. Beyond their unique design, these cookies were incredibly delicious. The staff was lovely, and the shop had so many other tempting treats. Highly recommend a stop at Dolce Vita Desserts when you're in State College!

I was thoroughly impressed with the desserts! I went specifically for gluten free and gluten free, vegan options. I was so surprised to see how many options there were. The place itself was really cool in design, and set up was great. Both the gluten free and gluten free, vegan options were really good! The cupcakes were not dry at all, and the sweetness was perfect (not too sweet and full of flavor). Pricing was good for the type of desserts. All in all, definitely recommend, and I will be going back to try more options!
